In 2020 we expect to see a huge number of players fighting it out in a $1 Million Guaranteed No Limit Hold’em Freezeout tournament, with a $250,000 minimum first prize.In 2019 The APL Million had a massive 1,294 players in the Main Event which produced a $1,617,500 prize pool. New South Wales’ Huss Hassan took out the top prize of $300,000, adding to his previous APL Title where he picked up $100,000!2020 is going to be an even bigger and better year of poker! The Star Poker Room have recently finished renovating their space, continued to add live streamed poker events and they always go the extra mile for APL players.The APL Million Main Event is a $1500 ($1250+250) event that is open to all players who are not banned from APL or barred from The Star Casino. Licensees of the APL Brand and full-time staff are not eligible to play but your local tournament director is!The APL Million Main Event is a Freezeout event in which there are no rebuys or re-entries and you can only play one flight! There are four day 1 flights, that combine for day 2 and 3 with the final table played on the 4th day, Monday 9th March. Flight 1D is already been sold out. You may buy in on the day, however you will most likely by on the reserve list. Fortunately there are 3 other day 1’s to play!The 100% Cash Prize Pool is Guaranteed at $1,000,000 and tickets can be purchased at www.PokerTickets.com.au.There is a host of side events that are open to all players featuring Short Deck, Pineapple, an ever popular Teams Event and a $50,000 Guaranteed prize pool for a small $240 buyin. APL Poker Players all of our APL Poker games are still ON HOLD on the Northern Beaches due to the current COVID outbreak on the Northern Beaches. The Department of Health have said to insure increased safety to all Poker players attending our locally run Poker Events all games are currently ON HOLD till further notice.
